Spheria crowned Australia’s best small cap equities manager

Spheria Asset Management has been named Australia’s best small cap equities manager at the 2021 Zenith Fund Awards.

Spheria Co-Founders and Co-Portfolio Managers, Matthew Booker and Marcus Burns said the award is a testament to the hard-working investment team.

“We are humbled by this recognition from Zenith, which is a credit to our disciplined investment processes and our talented team which continues to strive to achieve strong outcomes for clients,” said Booker and Burns.

“Spheria has been able to successfully navigate through a challenging period for markets and this has underscored the value of our active, bottom-up approach, which avoids much of the hype and distraction which is prevalent in the Australian small cap market.

“We thank Zenith Investment Partners and our clients for their support and look forward to continuing to achieve investment excellence for many more years to come.”

The 2021 Zenith Fund Awards were presented via a virtual presentation on Friday, October 15.
